The minimum requirement for Private Wealth Management is $1,000,000 CDN in investable assets.
When you meet your advisor, expect to have a detailed conversation about your finances, wealth goals, and priorities. The more you share, the more comprehensive your plan will be.

Janice: Farming has become a big business, just keeps growing, and then your kids are involved. You need financial backing.
Janice: We've been married for 51.5 years, and we farmed together with Hank's brothers and his dad until 1990. And we did with our kids.
Eldon: Farm life was the good life as a kid. Learned hard work and the values that go with that.
Hank: Yeah, farming was in my heart, but definitely lots of things changed tremendously from when I farmed with dad. We increased the size of our farm with steps we knew we could handle. My dad always said, walk but don't run.
Janice: But, let’s face it, we don't understand a lot of the investment part of it. We rely on Westminster Wealth because farming has become such a big business.
Hank: Been there with TD for well over 50 years. We have an account manager in Agricultural Banking that we work with. She knows our farm. She knows the boys.
Eldon: Especially in a smaller community, you get to know them in a more personal level.
Janice: Good advice from our Westminster Wealth advisor allows us to, first and foremost, not fret about if you’re doing the right thing.
Eldon: It’s the value of knowing where you’re at financially and trying to make prudent decisions. You look for expansion and growth. And we've had those opportunities with TD.
Hank: I think there's a good opportunity for the next generation.
Janice: We have three boys and one girl. Basically we’re working toward setting them up. That's kind of what you live for. I mean, you work for your kids and grandkids to give them a good start.

Crystal:
It's terrifying to leave a stable career for a riskier dream.
Being raised by a single mom, we didn't come from a lot of money, but I had a very happy childhood. We always found opportunities to go out and celebrate small milestones. We would go to this fast food restaurant. It was affordable and a lot of my happiest core memories were made there.
I think that's where my childhood dream of owning a fast food franchise started. But, I first spent over ten years as a lawyer, chasing a career and stable income. But my heart wasn't in it.
Starting a fast food franchise was incredibly overwhelming. You just hit the ground running with a million different things needing your attention. And that’s where TD Commercial Banking and Westminster Wealth came in to help me.
If you start off with a good team around you, a lot of things that seemed impossible at the beginning turns out to be very much within the realm of possibility.
Good advice is like interest, I feel like it grows, it compounds.
Westminster Wealth wasn’t just helping me with my immediate needs, but they were paying attention in helping me think ahead to 5 years, 10 years, 20 years down the road.
I felt seen as a whole person and not just my business or my investments. They understood my motivations so much that they could actually predict what would be the most helpful for my business and my family’s future.
I never lose sight of the sacrifices that my mom made in order for me to be able to do what I do today. Everything she did was so that I could dream without constraint. And when I think about success, whatever that is, I don't think of it as just mine. I really think of it as ours.

[Jenna]: Dad's dream was always for us to take over the family business, but they didn't know where to start.
[Cody]: My father was born in Italy, but he migrated here with his family in the 50s with not much money. Their first house, no running water. So he knew what it was like to stress about money.
[Jenna]: When my dad was 18, he left home. He had $30 in his pocket, and he really had a drive to succeed.
[Santana]: A few years later, he built a successful real estate company with his brothers.
[Cody]: My sisters and I grew up eating, breathing and living real estate. It was always a part of us.
[Jenna]: Our father always dreamed that we would take over the business.
[Cody]: Which is a multi-year thing. It can be very complex. There's a lot you don't know, so you need to consult the right people. And TD makes it easier. Whether it's investment advice through Westminster Wealth or business support through TD Commercial Banking.
[Santana]: TD has many different specialists for your finances, your wealth, your future planning.
[Cody]: With succession planning, there's a lot of moving pieces, and having Westminster Wealth there made it such a relief because they can answer all of our questions and help us through the process.
[Santana]: They know our business, but they also know us individually. They feel like family and I think that's what makes TD different. Westminster Wealth and Campanale. We make a powerful team all together.
[Jenna]: And now, with all their advice, we finally feel ready. Dad has seen that. He has the confidence in us to continue through with his legacy.

NICK: I’m always stressing about money. It’s like everybody, same story – you want to provide for your family.
NICK: I still don’t see myself as a businessman. You know, I like to get my hands dirty, so I’m always kind of in the mix there.
JUSTINA: It makes me laugh when he says. “I’m not a businessman, what do I know?” He’s got a successful business that he’s been running for almost 20 years now.
NICK: But in the beginning it was tough.
JUSTINA: When he was struggling, I would have the stable paycheck.
NICK: If she wasn’t there, I don’t know where I’d be right now. Or even the family.
NICK: Being a business owner, money was always tight. I never felt comfortable. For me it's just the worry of not having. Where I can’t put food on the table or provide because there might be a hiccup down the road that you don’t see.
JUSTINA: We needed someone that was focused on us, and focused on our priorities. We actually talked to our TD Commercial Representative. She guided us to our Westminster Wealth Advisor, Natasha. She told us upfront "We’re going to have a lot of stuff to work through together but here’s the plan. Here’s your vacation account, here’s the kids education account."
NICK: Natasha finally put it into perspective.
JUSTINA: She always aligned with our goals and keeping us on track.
NICK: That’s when I started to feel comfortable. I felt like ok maybe I could take a day off, take a half day off. You know, enjoy these moments because, you know, it’s just not all about work. As I get older I take a step back and see how fortunate I am. It’s about the comfort of knowing you’re okay, and your kids will be okay.

POLLY: When I look back in my life, doesn't matter what kind of situation I was in, I don’t give up.
I came from India with a Master’s Degree in 1987. But the reality was very different than my dreams. I got a job in the factory. There was no other choice. I had done like two jobs even, so I was working, like, 7 days a week.
But then I was determined, okay you know, this is not the place where I would stay. I need to go up.
Building a successful business with my husband was very tough. We worked hard together, you know.
But in 2005 my husband passed away. All my dreams, they were shattered. And those were the days I think I had no idea what to do.
I had two daughters, still the mortgage on the house. And now I was the single earner for the family. So security was a big thing for me. How to keep my money safe.
When I was introduced to Matt at Westminster Wealth, I felt he was knowledgeable.
The way Matt invested my funds – It made sense to me. Every single word that he said, it made sense to me.
He’s very open and honest when he gives you advice. If it’s not good for you, he tells you that too,
It’s a hard earned money. It should be looked after, where you have trust. Matt was the right fit for my family and for myself.
I want to be a role model for my daughters. They are my strength in every single moment.
It doesn’t matter what the situation is, you just move forward.

LEE-ANN: We’ve had a few detours in our life. We've really come to realize that the things that seem completely out of reach are not.
STEVE: Lee-ann and I were 13 years old when we first met. Lee-ann was my first girlfriend I was her first boyfriend.
LEE-ANN: I just remember Steve had very long hair. It was longer than mine.
STEVE: And then my father decided we're going to move out to Alberta.
LEE-ANN: 35 years later we reconnected.
STEVE: That was quite exciting when we actually met again. It came out of the blue -- the sparks were electric.
LEE-ANN: It really is very cool marrying your best friend. And now it's coming time to retire.
STEVE: We realized that we didn't have a true path to retirement, so we really needed some help with that. When we went to Westminster Wealth, we met up with Jonathan.
LEE-ANN: He really did open our eyes. He educated us. He was answering questions we didn't know we needed to ask.
STEVE: He was exploring all the different options to get us to retire much earlier than we had expected. I had the assumption that it was going to be a decade before I could retire. And it’s just amazing that the timeline has changed to the summer. It's like newfound time. I figure we've gained a decade of youth…
[LEE-ANN: Easy…]
STEVE: …and we will love to travel we love to go see our families. And we love detours.
LEE-ANN: Yeah… [Laughs]

- [Liz] It's not just Westminster Wealth, it's all of TD. There's different layers and support systems, and I like how they all communicate with each other.
- [Liz] Michael and I have been TD customers our entire life.
- [Michael] We both remember starting with TD, and we had the little TD Passbook.
- [Liz] When we got married, Michael just completed his first year of medicine and I am now in the family business.
- [Michael] We got to a point where we're comfortable. I had a good job, her business was successful.
- [Liz] We built a good life and we have two beautiful daughters. So we're really fortunate.
- [Michael] As things changed for us and we got older, things became much more complicated. My wife was getting close to selling her business. We were really actively engaging with her estate planning we started our foundation, and we needed more financial advice to navigate that. When Darrell and Cedric at Westminster Wealth came in, they really helped us look at things a little bit differently.
-[Liz] : They would reach out to me, "Okay, this is what it's gonna look like in 10 years, 20 years, 30 years." They've allowed us a sense of ease.
- [Michael] : A door opened and it was the sunlight came, and it was like "Ahhhh!" It was very eye-opening to the variety of things you can do. So it gave us a much better understanding of all the different ways to navigate your finances.
- [Liz] : I always feel safe and comfortable, and I trust what they're telling me. When I think about the future for our daughters, we are there to help them, but we also have great people around us at TD to help them as well.
- [Michael] : It's more than just a bank. The relationship we have with Darrell and Cedric at Westminster Wealth, it's just more.

TIM: I needed to make sure that she wouldn’t be forgotten, and to give something back.
Patty taught at the University Alberta for 27 years as a clinical instructor.
Patty loved her students.
She would work evenings and weekends to make sure that there's nobody left out and everybody got a fair chance.
Then my wife contracted ovarian cancer, and when she passed away that was a game changer.
I didn't realize at the time how well my wife was loved by her students and colleagues.
So I reached out to Corina at Westminster Wealth and we set a plan together, and we came up with private giving, and we set something up to get the scholarship in the name of my wife.
We've been very fortunate with Westminster Wealth to understand the complexities of estate planning and look at possibilities to do amazing things.
For me, that's giving something back to students, so there's a little bit of Patty in all of them.

Lynn:
People don't always know what to do when someone passes. Planning is a true gift.
My father always wanted to be seen as a positive person, not the sick person. No one wants to talk about the end of their life.
We spent many hours in his garage shelling lobster. At those times, we were able to talk a lot. My father was the type of person that always needed a safe space to talk about important things.
His Westminster Wealth office was one of those safe spaces to talk.
My stepmother was diagnosed with dementia. Dad ended up becoming a caregiver when he was unwell himself. His biggest concern was what was going to happen to his wife when he was gone.
Mike at Westminster Wealth gave my father the guidance that he needed to be comfortable. It gave him the power and support that he needed to do his planning.
Westminster Wealth made him feel special and like he may have been their only client.
At the end of my father's life, once he was gone, being in the role of power of attorney and the executor, there was a lot to do.
I had a call from Mike at the TD office, and he was so supportive and it became more like a friend calling. Meant the world.
When I went into the office, it was explained to me what the documents meant, where the investment sits now and where we go forward.
My father made sure that everything was in place, I wasn't guessing, and it was truly like a last gift.
That is the gift that we can all give, how to plan for the people that are left behind. People think it's very difficult, and it is not, they make it as easy as possible.
It's a privilege to be able to help my dad to fulfill his wishes that he had in his heart.

I think when you're alone, you doubt yourself. You need a coach.
When I was little, I had a dream. I said, “Dad, I want to go to the Olympics.”
So my dad says, “There's a list. It starts here and it goes to there. Are you ready?”
In 1984, I was selected for the Olympic ski team. But my dream didn't come true. Just before the Olympics, I injured my knee. And I remember watching the Olympics in my bed with my big cast on.
I did so many years of physiotherapy. I know how hard you have to work. And I wanted to heal those athletes. I was like, Sports Physiotherapist would be my new dream.
I started my own business. But again, I had a setback. After 25 years of marriage. I got divorced. and that put me deeply in debt. But like recovering from my injury, I said to myself, “I can make it happen. But I need guidance.”
That's when I met my Westminster Wealth advisor.
You do need someone that you trust. Like your coach, he has to know what to say to you at the starting gate. And my Westminster Wealth advisor knew exactly what to say.
He put all the numbers down and he showed me a plan. And the plan has to start there and it has to go up. But he said to me, “You have to work hard.” I'm like, “That's all I know.”
The advice I receive from my Westminster Wealth advisor made all the difference. I know now what to do.
Today, I am a successful entrepreneur. I'm running my own business and I'm making a difference to all my patients. And I am back with the Canadian Freestyle Ski team as one of their physiotherapists.
What I've achieved today – this is my gold medal.

Jessica:
Growing up, I absolutely thought money was taboo. I knew money was what my mom needed to pay the rent and to put food on the table, and that was it.
When I was young, what I remember, is my mom being a single mother, even though she struggled, she never showed it. That is a big part of how my work ethic is developed.
I have been selling real estate for just over 20 years now, it's been 20 years of go, go, go, go and save, save, save.
But I think it's the way I grew up, it was passed on to me to continue to just work hard, that's what I should be doing, and you don't get a chance to play until later on.
That's when I met our Westminster Wealth advisors, Louise and Ryan. They were asking the questions that we never asked ourselves.
It was about what's gonna make this family happy? I just wanna experience life and make memories with my family now.
They said, "Well, no, you could do that if you want to." They've showed us that we can enjoy life now and save for later.
It was an eye-opener.
Twice a year I meet with my Westminster Wealth advisors and those meetings allow me to feel confident that we're on track. They're partners who are gonna look out for our family. I recognize how important that is.
Money now gives me options.
Westminster Wealth has allowed my husband and I to start to dream.

KARL:
One of the things that makes people hesitate to retire is not having a clear path of moving from salary to savings.
There was a point in my corporate journey that I knew I was ready for retirement.
You do get to the point where you want to start doing something different – so you start thinking what that next step is.
What I envision for my retirement. Spend time with family. Spend more time golfing. And also spending some time using my experience to help give back to the community somehow.
You have your dream, but you don't always see the clear path in how you realize that, you know you need help.
You need professionals who have seen it before, have the expertise to be able to provide input.
My team at Westminster Wealth was able to help me realize that I can do this.
They are able to steer you. Able to affirm some of the things you were thinking about and making them doable, executable. And having that
reassurance and security is extremely important.
It’s good to have a plan and you can envision what the future looks like.
So now having the time to spend giving back, especially for the community, for kids, youth. My daughter, through her foundation, she has provided a vehicle for me to do that which is exciting.
Now that I’m retired and actually living my dream, it feels like so much more is possible.

ROB: When I was younger, I dreamed of having a record store but I never thought this would ever happen.
ROB: Growing up, I spent a lot of time in the record stores. Going downtown and flipping through records. I always thought, this’d be a cool job to have.
ROBIN: When we started dating, I had 12 CDs and then y’know I think Rob had a thousand. We got to the part where we had the house, we had the kids, we both had great careers…
ROB: When we got to a point of retiring I thought, you know what, why don’t we open a record store? It’s a risk, but I think it’d be a lot of fun trying to take this journey and see where it takes us.
ROBIN: The one side is the passion to do it. The other side is overcoming the fear. We reached out to Nico, our Westminster Advisor, to talk to him about it.
ROB: A big part of having a TD Advisor is having someone that you do build up that trust. Life’s ever-changing and it’s knowing that there’s someone that we can call right away and give us good advice for our future plans.
ROBIN: I like the relationship that we have with him. Nico helped me to know that everything else is secure. He gave me comfort around the financial piece of it.
ROB: I think that was probably like the really reassuring part is knowing that someone is actively looking after our best interests and making sure that we’re taking opportunities but also managing it safely.
ROB: And I think at this stage in life, you don’t want to miss that one opportunity and fortunately we’ve had good people to help guide us along the way.
